Vongolo Consulting!! is a consulting boutique that combines strategy and leadership development, with cultural transformation and company engagement in novel and refreshing ways.

Our Philosophy

Vongolo is dedicated to support individuals and organizations in anticipating the future, comprehending strategic implications and change and renewal. Fundamentally we believe the world needs more long-term perspectives and awareness, and we are driven by our intent help our clients do just that. In business, this usually implies the development of a long term vision and strategy, the maintenance of a continuous internal strategic dialogue and subsequently dealing with the uncertainty that lays ahead. In leadership context, embracing the future results in more inspirational leaders, which is a gift and virtue we hope to bring to all the lives we touch.

Our History

Vongolo Consulting was founded in 1998. Having experiences hard nosed strategy making for several years, Rob-Jan de Jong, the founder of Vongolo Consulting, believed that a powerful strategic dialogue runs through interactive, learning conversations with an emphasis on imagination. Having experienced first hand the power of these serious, yet creative and fun processes, he set out to develop a consulting boutique that specializes in the art of embracing the future.

Since then we have been involved in a wide variety of projects and client engagements, across multiple industries, for profit and non-profit organisations. Using existing methodologies, as well as developing new and fresh approaches, we have engaged over 5.000 people in our work. In the last few years our work has been picked up in the academea as well, and we have been involved in programs at reknown business schools such as the Wharton School of Business (Philadelphia, USA), Cedep/Insead (Fontainebleau, France) and Nyenrode Business University (The Netherlands).

Why "Vongolo"?

We are often asked, what's in the name? It's a long story, that brings us back to the origins of the company. It's not that we don't want to share, but the story is better told in person. So feel free to ask when we meet!
